harana poetry is the online magazine for poets writing in English as a second or parallel language. Founded in 2018 by poets Kostya Tsolakis and Romalyn Ante — whose mother tongues are Greek and Tagalog respectively — the magazine strives to resist singleness of tongue and thought, initiate creative conversations, and enlarge possibilities.
The magazine is edited by Kostya and Romalyn, with past editorial contributions from deputy poetry editor Iulia David, and reviews editors Shalini Sengupta (2021, via the Ledbury Poetry Critics programme) and Alice Hiller (2018-2020).
